Smithville Christmas events kick off Dec. 4 | Entertainment


SMITHVILLE — The sixth Annual Smithville Neighborhood Lighted Christmas Parade will begin at 6 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 4, in downtown Smithville.

“In case you can gentle it up and get it down the road, deliver it,” states a Fb occasion put up from organizers.

The parade, sponsored by Smithville American Legion Auxiliary Unit No. 58, options people, automobiles and floats decked out in vacation lights.

Along with the parade, the annual Candyland Christmas occasion, sponsored by the Smithville Chamber of Commerce, can even kick off Dec. 4. The occasion, which inspires purchasing at native companies through the vacation season, happens the primary two weekends in December in and round downtown’s Most important Road. It’s going to run 1 to five:30 p.m. Dec. 4 and 4 to 7 p.m. Dec. 10.

“This can be a drive-thru occasion. Children can drop their letters to Santa and decide up a goody bag earlier than we ship them on a treasure hunt by way of downtown,” states a chamber launch.
