IndyGo announces clean air technology for full fleet of buses

IndyGo would be the first transit company within the nation to put in know-how that will increase clear, breathable air in its buses.

Spokeswoman Carrie Black stated the know-how is necessary, particularly with the continued menace of COVID-19 and the flu season.


“This know-how goes to cleanse the air of pathogens, of allergens, of even odors, so when persons are driving our buses, when our operators are driving the buses, they’re going to be respiration among the cleanest air on buses within the nation,” Black stated.


Black hopes it offers riders peace of thoughts.


“When you’re driving in an enclosed house, once we are coping with the continued pandemic and coping with colds, coughs and the flu, you’re typically involved about what’s within the air in these enclosed areas,” Black stated.
